How best to use my Ecoset Bottle, Travel Mug or Tumbler?
For keeping your drinks cold we recommend filling your bottle, travel mug or tumbler with pre-chilled water from your fridge. Alternatively, you can fill direct from the tap and top up with ice cubes.
Please note, placing your Ecoset Bottle, Travel mug or Tumbler in the fridge or freezer will do nothing to change the temperature of the liquids inside due to the double-wall vacuum.
For keeping your drinks hot, we recommend filling your Ecoset Bottle, Mug or Tumbler with boiling water first to heat the inside. Then, empty out the boiling water and fill with a hot drink of choice.
Up to 24 hours cold is based on the water being very cold when poured into your bottle. Up to 12 hours warm is based on filling your Ecoset Bottle with boiling hot water and keeping it shut. Results will significantly vary based on the temperature of the drink put in the bottle and how many times it is opened. We would advise the same process for our Ecoset Travel Mugs and Tumblers which are 12 hours cold and 6 hours warm.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD BE EXERCISED WHEN FILLING OR DRINKING HOT LIQUIDS FROM YOUR ECOSET PRODUCT. WHEN PLACING EXTREMELY HOT LIQUIDS INTO YOUR ECOSET PRODUCT BEWARE OF STEAM THAT CAN BUILD UP IN THE SEALED PRODUCT. EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN OPENING OUR PRODUCTS WITH HOT LIQUIDS INSIDE.

How do I clean my travel, stroller or tumbler slide Lid?
We know how annoying lingering coffee stains can be; even with immediate aftercare of your Ecoset Tumbler, Stroller or travel mug lid, some staining may occur over time with regular use especially with coffee stains. We recommend cleaning your Ecoset lid daily to prevent bacteria, mould, and other germ build ups, however, staining does not mean your Ecoset lid is dirty. If it has been a while since you’ve deep cleaned your lids, don’t worry, we have a quick, easy, and effective solution for you! Follow these easy steps below: 1. Carefully disassemble your slide Lid: carefully take apart your slider lid, and gently remove your rubber gasket from the rim of your Lid. See video here on how to do this without damaging or forcing your slide component. 2. If you find it difficult to get the slide component out we sometimes use the handle of a spoon or chopstick to help pop it out: link to video here 3. Place your lid pieces including silicone ring in a bowl and fill about halfway with warm or hot water soapy water 4. Give the silicone pieces a little scrub with a small brush. We sometimes use a tooth brush. 5. Let the lid pieces steep for a while. Take them out and rinse. 6. Let them dry on kitchen towel or tea towel, re-assemble, and pop back on your lid!
